Here is half of the excitment side. At the top are two basketball players from Kansas and UCLA, then beow is a shot of Arena football then off to side is a little section that I like, a skier going off a mountian, and below him is a guy climbing a mountain. Then blending in is Brittany Griner, a snowboarder, and Derek Jeter.
The other half of excitement, in the corner is a guy for red bull doing a sick leap of faith, then directyl below him is Tim Tebow praying. Beside him is the legendary night where Michael Jackson performed Billie Jean at Motown. Then former NHL MVP and scoring champ Joe Thorton going for a goal. Above him is a vicous tiger, and beside that is Vince Carter going against Jason Terry.
Here is most of the Happy side. Far right is Jennifer Aniston, A-Rod, and John Wall. Above them is he cast of Saved by the Bell as they are today. Below him, the little guy is Tracy Morgan, and below him is a big image of Michael Jakson. Next to him is Jonah Hill, Reese Witherspoon, and Taio Cruz. Next to him is a funny image of a dog wearing a huge smile. Above him are Reggie Bush, Dwayne Wade, Michael Jackson's Doctor, Wayne Brady, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, and Tiger Woods' mouth.
Here are my first set of preliminary designs. The top left is happy, in it are a smiley face, thumbs up, and two guys high fiving. Top right is sad, it's got a blue face, giant teardrops, and two guys crying, one of them literally crying a puddle of tears. Bottom left is Angry, a steaming red-hot face, a firy explosion, two guys with one guy shouting insults at the other, and a UFC fist. The bottom right is love, in it is a heart shaped head, cupid, and a wedding ring.
1. I think the good or strong parts of my collage are the picture becuase they all have a different story or setting but still show the same emotion.
2. I probably would have been more creative and cut out the pictures in a better job.
3. I represented both happiness and excitement because those are amazing feelings and I was able to work really well with the emotions.
4. I used many colors in my collage because I used so many pictures. Probably a milky tan color or a deep brown are dominant because they are the colors of skin. The lightest values or in the background of the the title, and my dakest are in the hair or background of the images.
5. I cut out my images with a pair of nice scissors and glued them down with a glue stick and rubber cement because that's what you do with pictures in a collage, and I tried to fill the entire board with the pictures.
6. Like I said, I cut my pictures out with scissors and glued them down with rubber cement, and another material I used was paint. I used some dashing red and blue lines at the top, and I outlined the pictures and most white spaces with a green color of paint, because it's a good way to tie it all together.
7. This project gives you a good look at collaging, and not just in art class, but the whole world is a collage, because it's a mix and blend of all beings, emotions, sights, sounds, etc.
8. First, I found out my emotins would be happiness and excitement because I knew I would work well with those two emotions. Next, I looked through magazines like People magazine and ESPN magazine because those both had many good pictures for my emotions. Then, I glued them down to fill space. Last, I painted into any remaining space because whit space is bad.
9. Yes, this is a worthwhile project, but maybe next time we could go beyond emotions and do like a sport or a movie, song, etc., just a little more freedom I would say.
